Autumn Winter Flowers Mood Board

Here at Roller Blinds Direct, we like to keep up to date with the world of interiors, ensuring that the newest, most fashion-forward designs are available to our trend-conscious customers. This season, along with traditional tartan, twenties-inspired spaces and fifty shades of grey, florals are a popular theme. Yes, you heard right, flowers are big this A/W! We’re talking intricate patterns and dramatic contrasts, along with an eye-catching palette of muted neutrals, monochrome and rich reds and purples.

We’ve taken a look at some of our favourite patterned roller blinds, which boast a variety of gorgeous floral designs perfect for the colder seasons! Which is your favourite form of winter floral?

1. Pretty Poppies

Sunlover Papavero Poppy Roller Blind

Bold, beautiful, and all the more fitting considering the this month’s commemorative celebration, this poppy print roller blind is the perfect way to introduce a floral feature into your home this autumn. We love the contrast between the deep red petals, soft grey leaves and plain white background, and think this floral blind would look stunning in cosy living rooms, minimalistic kitchens and romantic bedrooms alike.

2. Winter Blossom

The Louvolite Kimono Raven roller blind is a great example of how floral designs needn’t always be pink and pretty. The dramatic oriental print is brought to life by the deep, dark base colour and intricate highlights. We can imagine this floral roller blind fitting in perfectly in a minimalistic bedroom or study, where we’d set it against a neutral backdrop to really make it pop.

3. Baroque Blooms

We can’t be forgetting classical baroque prints this A/W. This style is a timeless, elegant way to incorporate florals without being too delicate or feminine. We especially like this Railux Windsor Heather roller blind, which makes the most of the design in its combination of purples. We’d pop this blind in a stylish but cosy living room, and match up the colours with cushions and other ornaments.

4. Monochrome Flourishes

Finally, holding its own on the abstract side of floral design is the Arena Tamara Monochrome roller blind. The simplicity of dark grey details upon a crisp white base make the variety of flowers and flourishes stand out beautifully. We’d love to see this blind layered with a bright pair of curtains or a sheer voile, and complemented by matching windowsill ornaments.
